Description A nuclear diagnostic equipment sits in a room at the Champalimaud Cancer Research Center during its opening ceremony In Lisbon, Portugal on Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010. The Chamaplimaud Center for the Unknown, aims to become the world's most important cancer hospital and scientific research center for cancer diseases. For that, all starts in the architectural concept of the building and the way doctors and researchers will be working. The project is part of the Champalimaud Foundation which was possible with the donation of a quarter of Mr. Champalimaud's fortune after his death.
